Ingredients

  • 1 serving Biomel Natural Coconut
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 100ml plant-based double cream
  • 90g fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 splash of plant-based milk if cream needs loosening (optional)
  • Ice cubes (for serving)

Method

  1. Blend the strawberries and maple syrup until smooth and set aside.
  2. Whip the plant-based cream using a milk frother or hand whisk until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in the strawberry purée, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired colour and consistency. If the mixture becomes too stiff, add a tablespoon of plant-based milk at a time and stir to loosen.
  4. To prepare the matcha, whisk 1 tsp of matcha with 30 ml of the Biomel Natural Shot until smooth and frothy.
  5. Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in the matcha-Biomel blend, then top with the remaining Biomel and the strawberry cream cloud.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Gut Health Tips

Red fruits like strawberries are packed with anthocyanins - natural plant pigments that give them their vibrant colour. These antioxidants have been shown to support gut health by promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria and reducing inflammation in the digestive tract.
