Ingredients

  • 2 servings (30g) Unflavoured Biomel Complete Gut
  • 60g blanched almonds
  • 75g cup dried cherries
  • 8 medjool dates, pitted
  • 20g gluten free rolled oats
  • 60g almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • White chocolate (optional, for drizzling)

Method

  1. Add the almonds, dried cherries, medjool dates, rolled oats, almond butter, Biomel Complete Gut, vanilla extract, and poppy seeds to a food processor.
  2. Blend until a sticky dough forms. If the mixture is too dry, add 1–2 tablespoons of filtered water and blend again.
  3. Divide the mixture into 16 equal portions.
  4. Roll each portion into a ball using your hands.
  5. If desired, melt some white chocolate and drizzle over the balls for a cherry bakewell-inspired finish.
  6. Place in the fridge to set.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
