
Priya is an award winning registered dietitian and nutrition professional with a degree in Nutritional Sciences and a Masters in Dietetics. Best known from BBC1’s Eat Well For Less and appearances on Food Truth or Scare (BBC2) and Embarrassing Bodies (Channel 4), she is registered with the Health Professions Council and the British Dietetic Association. Other TV appearances include Honest Supermarket (BBC2), Dom Delivers (BBC1) with Dom Littlewood, and Britain’s Most Loved Brands (Channel 4).
During lockdown, Priya wrote two books, The DASH Diet and The Complete Low FODMAP Diet Plan, which are available at Waterstones and on Amazon.
Priya works with a number of brands in a consultancy and ambassador capacity and has partnered with baby food brand For Aisha to work with them as they grow and develop their range. She has also worked with Precision Biotics, Benecol, Heart UK and Upfield amongst others.
Winner of the British Dietetic Association’s Media Spokesperson of the Year and an SBS award from Theo Paphitis, she also won Media Spokesperson of The Year at The BDA Awards 2025. With a wealth of media experience, Priya is known for her down to earth realism and no nonsense nutrition messages. She is in constant demand for her expertise, recently appearing on panels for Women’s Health Live and Guardian Live. With wide ranging experience both within the NHS and as a freelance dietitian Priya offers an inventive and fresh approach to nutrition.
Priya is a regular contributor to Network Health Digest (NHD) Magazine writing and enjoys working with companies offering innovative ideas, product development and recipe analysis. Past clients include Phillips Avent, Glaxo-SmithKline, CCD Health Care, Frylight, Giraffe, BBC, Red Meat Advisory Panel, BFree, Tesco, National Slimming Centre and the British Dietetic Association.
